During May 2016, the third round of a national competition "By bike to work" took place. Thanks to this event, the Ekom sports and team spirit was proved again.

For Piešťany, there was registered a total of 41 teams, of which Ekom was represented by 4 teams: Ekomáci, Ekom-Kom, Dobrá robota and Čango. In the mileage competition within Piešťany, the team Ekomáci won the 2nd place and all 4 teams together won for Ekom 2nd place in category "Number of teams participating - Companies". Among individuals dominated Martin Michalek, who won the third place in the mileage on a bicycle - a total of 566.7 kilometers in the month of May.
