Company EKOM has been applying an ecological approach to the development and manufacturing of its products since the beginning of its operations, and its goal is to minimize the impact on the environment. This ideology is incorporated already in the name of the company, which is derived from its main product, as an abbreviation of the words Ecological KOMpressors.

To reduce the carbon footprint, EKOM is currently launching a project for the use of renewable energy sources in the form of photovoltaic panels. These will cover part of companyʹs electricity consumption.

Parameters of the proposed technical solution:

• photovoltaic capacity 377.65 kW

• installation on roofs in EW orientation (east-west)

• start of production of own electricity - in case of ideal conditions, by the 20th of calendar week 2023
