EKOM won the first place in the rankings TOP10 companies of the region.

Purpose of the ranking is to acknowledge the healthiest small and medium-sized companies in particular regions and thereby highlight their role and importance in the business economy of Slovakia.

Rating is based on the financial reports of companies in previous year.
In each region, four companies are awarded in four categories:
- Trade companies with a turnover from 2 to 10 million euros
- Trade companies with a turnover from 10 to 50 milion euros
- Manufacturing companies with annual turnover from 2 to 10 milion euros
- Manufacturing companies with a turnover from 10 to 50 million euros

Selection includes all companies in the region that have known turnover and subsequently an assessment is made on the basis of the publication of financial results. The general partner of the ranking is UniCredit Bank, expert guarantor is the company Deloitte and data specialist the company Bisnode.

Regular news about which companies will be awarded and which will find themselves among the best are published in the daily newspaper "Hospodárske noviny".

For the company EKOM spol. s.r.o., the award was received by Ing. Vladimir Bátora, one of the founders of the company. Editor of daily newspaper "Hospodárske noviny", Mr. Michal Skýpala, discussed the topic of the business environment in Slovakia with him.
