EKOM extended warranty
By registering an EKOM product for use in a dental practice via the EKOM App, you are entitled to a 5-year extended warranty for the registered product, provided the conditions below are met.
The extended warranty provided by the manufacturer includes free delivery of spare parts to the Buyer by the Seller within the scope of the corresponding warranty repairs and does not cover travel and service costs associated with the performance of warranty repairs. The warranty is only valid if the prescribed service intervals specified in the user manual are observed.
The extended 5-year warranty becomes void if any of the following conditions are not met:
- the user has registered the product in the EKOM App no later than 3 months after receiving it from the seller (as proof, the manufacturer may require a document confirming receipt of the product)
- the installation of the product was performed by a service technician trained by the company EKOM, spol. s.r.o
- the installation record for the product has been made by a service technician via the EKOM App no later than 3 months after receipt of the product from the seller (as proof, the manufacturer may require a document confirming receipt of the product); and
- only original parts from the manufacturer were used to maintain the product, while following the manufacturer's instructions and the maintenance intervals set by the manufacturer, and all maintenance operations on the product were also recorded in the EKOM App mobile application within 3 months from the date they were carried out.
The extended warranty applies only to products designed to power dental units, instruments and equipment in dental practices, clinics and laboratories, to the extent of:
- dental compressors without drying unit (with the exception of Tower compressor stations),
- dental compressors with membrane drying unit and
- combined dental compressors of the DUO line.
The extended warranty applies to products installed in any of the following countries:
- EU,
- UK,
- Switzerland,
- Norway,
- Iceland,
- Ukraine.
Other warranty exclusions - the extended warranty does not apply to:
- product damaged during transport,
- product damaged by improper storage,
- product damaged as a result of incorrect handling of the product,
- the product used for purposes other than those specified in the instructions for use,
- the product used under conditions other than those specified in the instructions for use,
- a product that has been tampered with or altered without the manufacturer's consent,
- incompleteness of the product, which could be detected at the latest upon receipt of the product from the seller,
- a product that has been damaged as a result of a natural disaster,
- a product where the fault is due to improper installation or maintenance of the product,
- mechanically damaged product and
- parts or components of the product that are subject to natural wear and tear or are subject to replacement requirements in accordance with the product's instructions for use.
The claim for warranty repair of the claimed product within the extended warranty becomes void if the buyer/legal successor of the buyer does not submit all of the following documents to the seller:
- invoice confirming the purchase of the EKOM product
- product installation record made through the EKOM App mobile application,
- records of regular product maintenance and service recorded in the EKOM App mobile application,
- a duly and truthfully completed complaint report ( https://www.ekom.sk/en/ekom-zone/forms ).
The extended warranty applies to products that were shipped from our warehouse after 1.10.2024.
